It was a perfect night for baseball in Harper Woods as the Knights took on the Chihuahuas. The visiting Knights jumped out to an early lead as they put up 5 runs in the first inning. Starting pitcher Kameron Garfield went the distance with on the hill and a total of 15 strikeouts. Also on defense Kenny Hoff and Nicholas Lang made some plays to help hold the lead. The team never gave up, they stayed positive and played the game the right way, they had fun. I am proud of all of them. Great Job Knights!

It was a cool night yesterday at the yard as the Knights took on the Whitecaps. The Knights took the field in the first with Ahmiya Gordon on the hill. The Whitecaps got off to a good start drawing first blood, but the Knights fought back and scored a few runs themselves. Ahmiya pitched three strong innings. Calen Heath came on to pitch the next three innings, just dominating the Whitecaps. Calen also had two big hits bringing in several RBI’s. There were also some excellent plays made by Robert Hopkins, DaiJon Brooks, Kenny Hoff, Max Mugridge. It was a great evening and close game for both teams. Fun was had by all!

It was a cool, rainy opening day in Harper Woods as the Knights and the Chihuahuas squared off for game one of the 2017 season. The Knights got out to a quick lead almost batting around. The Knights were kept in the game by outstanding pitching from Calen Heath and Kameron Garfield. The Chihuahuas fought back to win by one run. Both teams played great and it was an even matchup. Even though the Knights suffered their first loss, the game was played right because they had fun!
