Lugnuts 2 – Storm 1


Bulls 2 -Mudhens 1


Borin Leonard pitched 6 strong innings.  Miles Blazejewski had 2 hits and 1 RBI. The Bulls and the Mudhens played a good defensive game.

Mudhens 6 – Lugnuts 1


The Mud Hens played a solid defensive game and received strong pitching from Cameron Schafer, Will Smith, and Joey Olejniczak.  The Mud Hens offense was paced by a double and 3 RBI’s from Alex Hutchins.

Bulls 18 – Storm 8


The Bulls came out with their hitting shoes on.  Led by Jessica Baysdell with 3 hits.  Marc Melendez had a double and 2 RBI.  Matthew Blazejewski got his first hit.  Cameron Williams pitched 3 strong innings.

Bulls 14 – Lugnuts 2


The Bulls keep their hot hitting streak going.  Led by Ben Praet, Cameron Williams, Boalicious, and Juan Powell and had 2 hits each.  Cameron pitched 4 great innings.  Boalicious got the save.

Mudhens 6 – Storm 2


The Hens won their 2nd straight game behind strong pitching performances from Anthony Topciu and Joey Olejniczak.  The offense was lead by hits from Quintez White, Will Smith, Anthony Topciu, Alex Hutchins, Rodd Motts, and an inside the park home run from Ahmad McGee-Williams.  Cam Schafer had 2 walks and scored twice.

Mudhens 5 – Bulls 4


The Mud Hens held on for the win after fighting off a two run 6th inning rally by the Bulls.  The Hens had 6 total hits lead by two hits from Will Smith and a key two run double from Anthony Topciu.  Calvin Thompson also reached base twice on walks.  Anthony Topciu got the win striking out 10 batters in relief of Cam Schafer.  Ben Praet reached base 3 times on walks for the Bulls.

Justin Barksdale got his first hit of the season and 2 RBI.  Bolicious pitched another strong game.  The Bulls beat Lanse Creuse Red Sox

 The Bulls Ben Praet pitched 3 strong innings.  Jessica McGary Baysdell went 2 for 2 and had a good defensive play at second base.  Donald Hightower had a triple, and 3 RBI for the win.

Mudhens 12 – Storm 11

The Hens put together one of their best overall games of the season with great pitching, defense, and hitting.  Joey Olejniczak got the start and held the Bulls to one run in 3 2/3 innings with 6 strikeouts.  Cam Schafer pitched 2 1/3 innings of relief striking out 7 batters.  The offense was lead by 2 hits apiece from Jacob Williams, Calvin Thompson, and Alex Hutchins.  Will Smith also reached base 3 times on walks.

The Mud Hens put together a great offensive performance.  The attack was lead by Jacob Williams (2 Hits, 3 RBI), Joey Olejniczak (2 Hits, 2 RBI), and Cameron Schafer (2 Hits, 3 RBI, 2 Runs).  Rodd Monts, Charlie Klatt, and Terrace Turner each chipped in with key hits.  Quintez White reached base 3 times on walks and scored 2 runs.  Calvin Thompson pitched 3 2/3 solid innings.  Jaden Bland had 4 strike outs in 1 1/3 innings of strong relief.  Ben Jenny and Caleb Morisette each reached base 3 times for the Lugnuts.

The Mud Hens offense stayed hot putting up 14 runs with another team effort against the L’Anse Creuse Indians.  Jacob Williams reached base 3 times including an inside the park home run.  Quintez White and Will Smith hit triples and Joey Olejniczak had two hits.  Terrace Turner reached base 3 times on walks.

Ahmad McGee-Williams celebrated his birthday with two triples and Cameron Schafer went 3 for 3 with a double and 4 RBI’s to lead the Mud Hens offense.  Will Smith, Calvin Thompson, and Jacob Williams also contributed by each reaching base 2 times for the Hens.  Joey Olejniczak  pitched 4 innings of relief to get the win.  Cam Schafer came in and got the last out to earn the save.  Donald Hightower had two hits and a walk for the Bulls.

Bulls 12 – Storm 7


Today’s game was the father and son game.  Ben Praet pitched four great innings for his first win.  And dad Matt Praet, got his first win as manager.  All the kids played a great game and they are ready to play in the playoffs.

The Mud Hens offense stayed hot in their regular season finale on Tuesday.  Will Smith reached base 4 times and scored 4 runs.  Alex Hutchins had 3 hits with 2 doubles and Ahmad McGee-Williams connected on his 2nd inside the park home run of the season.  Cam Schafer went 4-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s.  Joey Olejniczak got the start combining with 4 other Hens pitchers to limit the Storm offense to 5 runs.  The Mud Hens open the playoffs on Thursday at 6:15 pm at Little League #2 against the Lugnuts.
